Community Day: Foretia Foundation Visits Children with Special Needs at Action Sociale Diaspora Africaine (ASDA), Yaoundé

On September 26, 2025, the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation team visited Action Sociale Diaspora Africaine (ASDA) — a center devoted to supporting underprivileged and special needs children in Nkolbisson, Yaoundé — as part of our monthly Community Day outreach program.

Representing the Foundation, Mr. Anthony Antem reaffirmed our unwavering commitment to empowering communities and ensuring that no child is left behind. A key highlight of the day was an engaging health talk led by Dr. Stéphanie Eyombo of Medicalia Health Center, who shared insightful and practical tips on caring for children with special needs — an invaluable session for parents navigating the daily realities of specialized child care.

Since its creation in 2021, ASDA has played a vital role in improving children’s lives by providing educational assistance, essential supplies, transportation, and seed capital to parents and guardians. The visit concluded with a symbolic act of solidarity, as the Foundation presented thoughtful gifts to ASDA’s coordinator on behalf of the children.

This monthly outreach embodies our shared conviction that community-driven care, empathy, and inclusion are the cornerstones of a stronger, more compassionate society.
