On Friday, June 27, 2025, the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to compassion and community engagement through its monthly #CommunityDay. This time, the team visited Orphelinat Vie de Grâce Annexe, located in the Efoulan neighborhood of Yaoundé. The center provides shelter to children aged 0 to 5, many of whom were abandoned at birth.

The team was privileged to witness the inspirational leadership of Co-Chair Mrs. Lenora Ebule, who joined to extend compassion and love to the children of the orphanage. Staff from various departments came together to carry out a range of manual activities including cleaning the compound, mopping the floor, doing laundry, ironing clothes, and organizing baby essentials. Most importantly, our goal during these community outreaches is to ensure that the unfortunate of life are rearmed with hope and confidence to keep up the struggle and be the artisan of their destiny.

After a brief presentation of the Foundation and the essence of our Community Outreach by Mr. Bruno Ittia, Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at the Foundation, the visit culminated in the presentation of symbolic gifts handed over by the Co-Chair to the administration of the orphanage.

At the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation, we believe that true economic transformation begins with compassion and equal chances. A stronger Africa is built not just through policy and innovation, but through care for its most vulnerable.
