Nsaikila Melaine Nyuyfoni is a Senior Economic Policy Analyst and Head – Economic Affairs Section of the Nkafu Policy Institute. Graduating with a B.SC in economics from the University of Buea, in Cameroon, 2010, Melaine gained employment with a Non-Governmental Organization called (Center for Nursery Development and Eru Propagation), CENDEP in 2011 as the projects coordinator and manager for the commercial subsidiary (Forest House) of the organization. In 2013, his hard work and dedication was recognized and he was one among three Cameroonians awarded the Fulbright Junior Staff development grant scholarship for that year. As a result, he left Cameroon to study for a Master’s Degree in economics at Western Illinois University.
In May of 2015 he graduated with a Masters degree in Economics, A Post Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) in Business Analytics and also gained a Statistical Analytic Software (SAS) programming certificate for SAS 9 from the SAS institute in North Carolina. From June 2015 to January 2016, Melaine served as Market research and Data Analyst for a flooring company FLOORWORLD LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is an erudite researcher, and an upcoming authority on economic and political issues on sub-Saharan. He sits on the board as Central African Representative of the Africa Fulbright Network.
