In a bid to address the challenges face by female entrepreneurs in Africa and in Cameroon in particular, the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Center of the Denis and Lenora Foretia Foundation organized a panel discussion on Tuesday, May 26, 2021. This discussion was organized under the theme ” Prosperity and economic freedom of women: The challenges of female entrepreneurship in Cameroon.”
Our panel featured the following prominent female entrepreneurs;
- – Bertha Yenwo, President of the African Women in Leadership Organization Cameroon Chapter (AWLO)
- – Yolande Boyomo, Founder and CEO of Djefyns Hope Secrets
- – Dr Alphonsine Florine Tchokote, Delegate of Yaounde Agropastoral Entrepreneurs GIC and Director of DOSIFLORE
- – Isabelle Kpwang, CEO and Founder of DK Group and Managing Director of Les Délices d’Isabelle.
Participants were enlightened on the female entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cameroon, the challenges faced by women in business and also the possible measures needed to ameliorate the conditions of women in entrepreneurship in Cameroon.
