Dr Wirajing Muhamadu Awal Kindzeka

Wirajing Muhamadu Awal Kindzeka is an economist, specialized in sustainable development and evidence-based policy analysis. He holds a PhD in Development Economics and has over five years of experience in research, consulting, and academic mentorship, with extensive application of advanced econometric methods to Africa’s socio-economic challenges. He currently serves as an Economic Policy Analyst at the Nkafu Policy Institute & Research Lead at the NextGen Sustainable Research Network (NGSRN), where he orients research agendas in economics, Governance, and sustainable development. He worked as a Data Analyst and Senior Research Consultant with RENEWBIZ Consulting Ltd, an international consulting firm, contributing to analytical and advisory assignments in development policy, energy access, gender, and inclusive growth. He is the lead author and national coordinator of the CAMFISHLIST Survey, one of Cameroon’s key fisheries and livelihood datasets. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and he has taught and mentored students in economics and applied Research methods. His work reflects a strong commitment to rigorous, policy-relevant research for Africa’s sustainable development.
