Dr. Stéphane Mbiankeu Nguea is a development economist specializing in sustainable development in Africa. He holds a PhD in International and Development Economics from the University of Dschang and currently works as a Policy Analyst at the Nkafu Policy Institute, part of the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation. His research, published in leading journals such as Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, Social Science & Medicine and Sustainable Development, examines the critical intersections between natural resources, energy access, and urbanization in shaping Africa’s development trajectory. Dr. Mbiankeu Nguea’s work combines rigorous econometric analysis with a focus on generating actionable policy insights to address poverty, inequality, and climate vulnerability.
