Yungong Theo Jong is a Contributor at the Nkafu Policy Institute. He is a development researcher with strong interest in Information Production and Management for development and humanitarian interventions and for strategic development communication activities. He holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Buea Cameroon, a Postgraduate Diploma in Geoinformation Production and Management from the Regional Center for Training in Aerospace Surveys in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is currently a doctoral researcher in Developmental Studies in the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, the Eastern Cape- South Africa where he also earned his Master’s degree in the same area of studies.
Yungong offers freelance consultancy services in diverse areas in development management including implementing and managing Corporate Social Responsibility, Information Production, Management and Dissemination and Research, Monitoring and Evaluation activties. Some of his previous stints have included United Nations Development Programme, Counterpart International, Development Partners and the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality as well as Cameroon Association of Bible Translators and Interpreters (CABTAL).
