In the World and Cameroon in particular, the impact of COVID-19 has been tremendous due to the high concentration of people, economic activities and resource consumption. The Corona virus threatens the economic, social and medical well-being of millions of Cameroonians and there is an urgent need to act so as to protect these peopleThe COVID-19 pandemic is a health shock and Cameroon has been experiencing an upsurge in the number of new cases since the country’s first case on the 6th of March 2020. Recognizing that this is a health emergency, countries including Cameroon have been responding to this global health emergency with a range of critical interventions to address the current pandemic. Despite these measures, the curve keeps rising. It is based on this that the Corona Virus Task Force of the Nkafu Policy Institute is organizing a Webinar on the theme:

Flattening the Covid-19 Curve in Cameroon

This webinar will take place on Wednesday , April 22nd, 2020 at 3pm West African time.
This webinar will focus on discussing what type of activities the government should place priority on, where will the virus spread most rapidly and what interventions are needed to help flatten the curve in Cameroon.
