Dr. Foretia is co-chair of the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation. Along with co-chair Lenora Ebule, he shapes and approves strategy, advocates for the foundation, and helps set the overall direction. He is also the Chairman of Merckshire LLC, an international holding company with operations in the US and Cameroon. A surgeon by training, Foretia has always been involved in philanthropic activities and issues related to international development.
Lenora is a co-chair of the Denis and Lenora Foundation. She defines the strategy to implement the organizations goals and to align it activities with its vision. Lenora has always had a passion for issues related to enterprise development and private sector growth in emerging economies, especially Cameroon.
Dr. Gopaul is the Chief Executive Officer of Nuovotech LLC, a biotech company developing high-quality yet simple, affordable and low maintenance medical devices to meet the needs of low and middle-income countries. He has broad experience in patient care, biomedical research, consulting and entrepreneurship. His particular interests lie in hospital administration, healthcare consulting and biotech start-ups. He was previously a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health where he focused on HIV research, specifically HIV immunology.
Toby Gordon, ScD (Health Policy and Management, Johns Hopkins University) joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2010. She serves as the Faculty Director of the Healthcare and Life Sciences MBA Programs and is an Associate Professor in the practice track with expertise in the areas of healthcare policy, management of health systems, and technology commercialization. Toby has a joint appointment in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Health Policy and Management), as well as a part-time appointment with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery.
Aneh serves as Senior Advisor at the Denis and Lenora Foretia Foundation. In her role, she serves as a strategist for the STEM Prize and the Leadership Program for Young Scholars at the foundation. Aneh’s passion for science fuels her desire to impact change in Africa, specifically her homeland Cameroon, by pioneering and fostering the pursuit of S.T.E.M careers by young Africans. She has devoted her time in empowering young Africans in developing ethical leadership skills early on, a call she holds dear to her heart.
Obed Fung serves as Director of the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation and is based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. An Economist by training, Obed was prior to his current appointment the Founder and President of Zumtaris Consulting, an economic consultancy firm operating in Cameroon. Mr. Fung holds a Masters in Financial, Monetary and Mathematical Economics from the University of Yaoundé II Soa.
Edith OSSONO was recently a lecturer in microeconomics and macroeconomics at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa. She holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa. She obtained her Bachelor’s in economics from the University of Yaoundé II Soa and has focused her research on CEMAC countries.
Elo Martinez de son vrai nom Elouga Nsegbe Martin Raoul est née à Yaoundé capitale Cameroun. Aujourd’hui, Infographiste de formation avec 9ans d’expérience il a réalisé le magazine Ongola, Le Journal « LeTribunal du Peuple » entre autres, Des rapports Annuels de Plan Cameroun et divers campagnes d’affichages. Après avoir travaillé pour Malabel Studio, Imprimerie Saint John, Studio Win Graphic Pro, il rejoin Denis&Lenora Foretia Foundation en Octobre 1013.
