Health Initiative

Healthcare delivery in Cameroon faces significant challenges. Critical shortages in health care personnel, the lack of adequate infrastructure as well as the absence of credible health insurance schemes has led to decreased demand and consequent increase in morbidity and mortality. The Foretia Foundation tackles many of these challenges, focusing on childhood illnesses, food security, the critical human resource shortage and advocacy for innovative health policy strategies.
